Welcome to Charlotte’s Cottage Quilt Shop. Our shop was named after two favorite Charlottes; my mom and my grand-daughter. Both of them love fabric. My mom never saw a border print she didn’t love. My grand-daughter loves fat quarters to use for doll blankets for her babies.
We have recently moved our shop to Shab Row’s beautifully restored 19th Century buildings in Historic Downtown Frederick, Maryland. Many of the important battles of the Civil War happened very close to our door. As a quilter and a history major, I was thrilled to be able to combine both by offering 1800’s reproductions in our shop and on our website. Who doesn’t love a quilt that tells a story and will become a treasured heirloom in your own family.
