The July First Saturday - Great American Main Street moves to Friday, July 3rd from 5 - 9pm for the month July. Celebrate Downtown Frederick's distinction as a Great American Main Street as named by the National Historic Trust Preservation. After trying your hand at old-fashioned game stations located throughout downtown visit the Great Frederick Float on Carroll Creek from 5 - 8pm. Live music, guest artists, exhibit openings complete the evening!

Begin your Independence Day early with The Great Frederick Float, Friday, July 3rd from 5 - 8pm! Enjoy children's activities, music, dancing, and A BOAT PARADE/CONTEST!! Prizes to be awarded! Click here to download Boat Application Form Individuals, organizations, companies, or families can enter a non-motorized boat into the contest. Decorate your boat in Red, White, and Blue and compete with your friends, neighbors, and the Downtown Frederick community! Entry deadline is June 30, 2009. Great fun for everyone!
