Join Dr. April Jehan Morris, Assistant Professor of Art History at Hood College and co-editor of The Crusades and Visual Culture, to discuss serpents, skeligs, and a manuscript called both “the work of angels” and “the product of a cold-blooded hallucination.” Explore legends, historical events, and artworks, bringing into focus the complex variety of ideas and forms of faith from that time and place. The lecture will be accompanied by a tasting of whiskey from McClintock Distillery and coffee from Dublin Roasters. FREE ADMISSION
