Ayurvedic Herbs and Elixir Sipping Ritual

Join Louise Holcomb for an intimate evening gathering, to learn about the many benefits of adaptogenic herbs for bringing our health into balance, and enjoy a delicious Herbal Elixir sipping ritual.
Curious about Ayurveda or how herbal remedies can support healing? Here is some more info about adaptogenic herbs & Ayurveda:

The science of Ayurveda and plant medicine is now widely accessible to all, and many of us could benefit from learning about and utilizing some of the unique gifts of Ayurvedic herbs- specifically, adaptogenic herbs.

The hectic and stressful nature of our modern lives isn’t going anywhere- but our reactions to stressors can. Adaptogens work in collaboration with the body to minimize and help us to literally ‘adapt’ and respond better to perceived stress. These herbs also work to boost mood, provide adrenal support, increase our awareness, energy levels, and healthy organ function, improve sleep quality and generally make even difficult situations easier to handle and more enjoyable!

Herbs that are revered within the South Asian tradition of Ayurveda for millennia, such as Ashwagandha, Shatavari, and Rose, as well as more well- known superfood herbs like Matcha, Turmeric and Cacao, will be explored. All can be made into divine herbal remedies that reduce the effects of stress, stabilize the endocrine system, promote longevity and taste delicious!

Louise will be introducing some holistic concepts of Ayurveda, and explaining the health benefits of some of the tonic herbs used in her line of powdered herbal supplements, Fill Your Cup Elixirs. We will then enjoy a beautiful Sipping Ritual, intentionally dedicating time to taking in the herbal elixirs and trying out the delicious Fill Your Cup blends. FREE sample tin (worth $10!) of one of four Elixir blends included with registration to the workshop.

Comfy seating and elixir beverages provided- feel free to bring a pen and paper and even your favorite mug!
