About this Event

Downtown City Visit to Annapolis, MD (Monday, April 13)

Be a tourist in someone else’s town for a day. Talk to other merchants and business leaders about their successes and challenges. Listen, observe, explore — and come home with valuable insights and fresh ideas to help your business grow.

The 2020 City Visit location will be Downtown Annapolis, a nationally designated historic district and our state’s capital city, located on the Chesapeake Bay. Learn more about our destination at downtownannapolispartnership.org or visitannapolis.org.

Advance registration is required, as there is limited space on the bus. Questions? Contact Leeann Crews at leeann@downtownfrederick.org

The Competitive Edge Series provides business owners with the tools they need to improve their business and help grow their success. The Partnership knows that small businesses do not have easy access to training to continually sharpen their competitive edge. This series helps to fill that gap.

The City Visit is an annual component of Competitive Edge, where we spend an entire day exploring and learning from another city. This year we will be hosted by the Downtown Annapolis Partnership.

Regular workshop sessions are held on the third Tuesday of each month, January through May, with workshops focusing on topics of interest to entrepreneurs. Each Competitive Edge workshop is offered at no cost to businesses throughout Frederick County thanks to support from PNC Bank and the City of Frederick’s Department of Economic Development. Mark your calendars and join us for the 2020 Competitive Edge series!
