Concert: Exploring Frederick’s Underground with Let There Be Rock Schools of Frederick & the Panhandle

Part 1 (daytime portion) of 2-part program. The Let There Be Rock Schools of Frederick and Martinsburg, WV have joined forces with Exploring Frederick’s Underground to showcase the talent being honed and nurtured in their students from noon – 5pm.

Capacity limited to allow for social-distancing — contact @FredRockSchool to register/rsvp. More info here. Families please exit the building according to directional markers after your child’s band has played, in order to allow others to enter.

The Exploring Frederick’s Underground collective seeks to document and create an archive the Frederick underground music and art scenes dating back to early 1980’s. The brainchild of filmmaker Don Ramirez, who has collaborated previously on the project with Area 31 Cinema Studios and Shepherd University.

The evening portion, ticketed separately, will run 7-10pm: 7pm Bus Load to Faith, 8pm Killers from Space, and 9pm The Downstrokes. [See separate event page for evening program.]

 

*Live & livestreamed, masks required onsite for ages 5+ unless drinking/eating.

Doors half-hour before start time. All-ages, $5+ donation to Rock Schools, limited seats at door; beer/wine may be available w/ID, cards preferred at bar.
