This is an all day workshop with Margaret Hluch to learn different thread resist stitches called Shibori, that create unique marks on fabric. These fabric samples will be dyed and you will also be taking a blank silk scarf and using what you have learned to create your own Shibori stitched scarf. Come have a fun day of learning a wonderful Japanese traditional mark making that was used for Kimonos. No skill set for this just a willingness to have fun. Kit fee includes fabric, needles, thread, dyes and silk scarf.
