Tight, weak muscles are pervasive in all aspects of our lives, not just dance. In this session Lindsey will teach you how to safely strengthen commonly weak muscles to improve posture, deepen your isolations and release your neuromuscular system to improve mobility.
This class is suitable and beneficial for non dancers as well. A set of mobility balls will be provided. Please bring a yoga mat and additonal padding if you have sensitive knees. There will be some floor work, but can be modified if you cannot get onto the floor.

Cost: $50 for session, includes set of mobility balls. $12 drop in rate (if you know you will just be drop in and want a set of mobility balls, please let Lindsey know by June 3rd)
About the instructor: Lindsey McCormick teaches local belly dance classes here in Frederick and is a licensed physical therapist assistant with extensive anatomy and neuromuscular knowledge.
