Moving Meditation with Qigong/Tai Chi led by MoonBridge Qigong • Feel Good Fridays

About Feel Good Fridays

This April, Downtown Frederick Partnership is partnering with local fitness, health and wellness organizations to offer free or low-cost outdoor wellness classes every Friday in April. All classes take place at the Carroll Creek Amphitheater (located across the creek from the C. Burr Artz Public Library, between Carroll Street and Market Street).

About this Class

Qigong (Chee-gung) is the oldest form of Chinese Energy Medicine. It is a highly refined system of exercises and meditations that develop our ability to acquire, store, circulate, and purify our Qi or Lifeforce Energy — that which is the force behind all movement and function in our body, mind and spirit.

All ages and skill levels are encouraged to join for this introductory session.

Wear clothes you can move easily in and bring an exercise mat, if desired. If you are unable to stand for the entire practice, feel free to bring a folding chair so you can do the exercises seated as needed.

This is a free class although donations would be greatly appreciated, especially with the wonderful way you will feel by the end of class. Suggested donation is $10, which can be paid with cash in-person, PayPal @MoonBridgeQigong or Venmo @Chris-Crawford-Lloyd.
