Fall Festival Gallery Show

The Potters’ Guild of Frederick is featuring pots for the Fall Season the entire month of October. Come see our decorated gourds, carved pumpkins and goulash masks and faces. Functional ware for coming colder months are on display including casseroles, soup bowls, serving trays and ware decorated with earthy autumn colors.

Dragons Love Tacos

October Events

Five beloved children’s stories come to life in an exciting musical revue! From “Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa School Days” to “Interrupting Chicken,” “Mercy Watson Goes for a Ride,” and contemporary classics like “The Dot,” join the adventure and delve into your favorite storybooks. The smARTS Series presents weekday performances for students! All FCPS reservations must be made through the FCPS Elementary VPA office. Tickets are required for homeschool groups of less than 25 and the general public.

In October The Artists Gallery will feature shows by two artists who are both having their first solo exhibitions at TAG.  Tom Semmes will show oil paintings in a series called “In a Certain Light: Scenes of Frederick & Beyond.”  Luc Fiedler will show sculptures and assemblages titled “Gravity and Other Scientific Facts.” These exhibitions, plus a show of work by all members of the gallery, will run from Oct. 6 through 29 with an opening reception from 5 to 8pm during First Saturday on Oct. 7.  Fiedler and Semmes will hold an artists’ talk to discuss their work on […]
