Market Street closed to vehicular traffic between Patrick & 3rd Streets on June 26, July 24 and August 28 (11AM-11PM).

As The City of Frederick and its businesses continue to safely reopen with fewer restrictions, the City is excited to announce the return of Pop-Up Dining along Market Street on select summer Saturdays.

On June 26, July 24 and August 28 (fourth Saturdays), Market Street will be closed to vehicles from 11AM to 11PM to allow in-the-street dining between Patrick Street and 3rd Street. Participating restaurants will place tables in the roadway to expand outdoor dining opportunities, much like the effort put in place last summer during restricted dining orders.

Since last summer, additional parklets have been placed along Market Street to offer restaurants expanded outdoor dining capacity seven days a week. The parklets will remain in place to continue that opportunity.
