It’s all about the Holiday Classics in Downtown Frederick!
SilvoCulture has partnered with Downtown Frederick Partnership to bring a holiday classic to December Second Saturday – we’re roasting chestnuts on an open fire (safely of course)! Stop by for a free tasting of locally-grown and freshly-roasted chestnuts.
SilvoCulture is a nonprofit organization that is working to build upon the already existing regional infrastructure around nut trees and tree crops. We work with landowners, organizations, and municipalities to plant food forests, foster partnerships with markets and stores, educate the public, as well drum up support and interest in tree crops!
WHEN: December 10th, 5-9pm
WHERE: The Carroll Creek Trellis, on the intersection of South Market St and Carroll Creek
