May 18: Chris Emkey (12-3pm) & Stephen Darnell (5-8pm)
Now based in Nashville, TN, Chris Emkey has had the opportunity to play with some of the best in the business. From regional shows out of Nashville, to New England, the Mid-Atlantic, and even a one-off concert in Oslo, Norway, Emkey is no stranger to the road.
Stephen Darnell is a spiritual and passionate performer of the Native American-style flute and many other traditional instruments. Stephen opens a realm of soulful and empowering creativity breathing peace and tranquility into the world through the flute he holds in his two hands.
June 15: Brian Derek
A unique blend of traditional, world, and original acoustic sounds. A multi-instrumentalist, he combines various guitars, ukulele, harmonicas, mountain dulcimer, and occasionally the concertina with humorous antics for an enjoyable evening of music and fun!
July 20: James and John
A violin and piano duo based in the Frederick area. James and John perform instrumental versions of hit songs from artists like The Beatles, Ed Sheeran, and Van Morrison, in addition to jazz standards.
August 17: The Hazards
Call it fate, luck, or provenance, but these five men come together in a way that channels the unmatched drive and spirit of the Great Early Bluegrass Pioneers… sometimes fearsome, sometimes lonesome, sometimes joyous, but always touching your heart.
September 21: Ante Up
A trio of seasoned musicians/singers with years of experience entertaining audiences with a wide variety of music. Ante Up’s styles vary from traditional Americana to classic R&B and standards.
