Storytelling Series at Serendipity Market & More

Do you have cabin fever? Would you like to hear true stories that will make you laugh and think, and then learn how to tell your own stories? If so mark your calendars for a Storytelling Concert in Frederick, MD on the evening of Saturday February 9th, and an interactive workshop on the afternoon of Sunday February 10th!

Serendipity (https://www.serendipitymm.com/) is a jewel of a market, eatery, and gathering place in the heart of Frederick, Maryland’s Historic District. Besides having fabulous food, an an eclectic upmarket General Store vibe, and a spacious back room with comfortable seating, they are also a great supporter of the local community and the arts. They heard about the December Storytelling concert I did at Fran Byrne’s Photographic Studio across the street from them, and invited me to do something similar at their wonderful establishment. It is my joy to do so!

The concert will be from 7-9pm on February 9th, and the workshop from 12-5 the following day. Price for the concert is $15, price for the interactive workshop is $50 (which includes a delicious lunch provided by Serendipity 😋).

If you purchase the two together it is $55. And you’ll find it easy to spend the $10 you save on some of the fascinating things that Serendipity has in the store!

The workshop is a stand alone experience- you’ll be telling your own stories before the session is through. But there will be a sequel leading to a performance in the coming weeks.
