The July exhibition at TAG offers surprises and intriguing possibilities. Works for exhibition will be drawn from the personal and private collection of TAG members. These works, created by TAG artists, will be presented to the public, some for the first time. Find out what goes on behind the closed doors of an artist’s studio. What’s the artist’s process? How are works developed and presented? Twenty artists, photographers, painters, and sculptors, each with a different approach to their subject, will provide gallery goers with an unprecedented look behind the curtain into the artist’s world. Scores of works by TAG artists will be available, unlike the standard gallery exhibition of hanging paintings on a wall with only a small fraction of an artist’s work shown.
The exhibition runs from July 5 through July 28. The opening reception is Saturday, July 6 from 5 to 9 pm. The closing reception and Meet the Artists runs from July 28 from 3 to 5pm with contributing artists present.
