Author Tamara Thayer will host a talk and signing for her book “The Mystery of Barbara Fritchie, a True Patriot” at 10 a.m. on Dec. 3 at the Barbara Fritchie AirBnB at 154 West Patrick St.
At 1 p.m. the book will be presented in sign language for the Deaf community. That will be followed by the author telling the famous flag-waving story in character as Barbara Fritchie at 3:30. The event is happening on what would have been Fritchie’s 254th birthday. Dress from the time period is encouraged but not required. Seating will be limited. Learn more here.
