Grab your wand and join the Loudoun Ballet Performing Arts Company for The Wizard, an original, much-anticipated, one-of-a-kind ballet inspired by Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. The Wizard will premier April 29th at the Weinberg Center for the Arts in Frederick, Maryland.
Come along with an orphaned ballerina, as she uncovers family secrets and discovers magical powers beyond her wildest imagination. She has no idea what awaits her when she dares to accept a mysterious invitation to escape the hovel in which she is living. The Wizard is a tale of courage in the face of evil, friendships put to the test, and a wondrous magic wand!
