The Frederick Arts Council is partnering with New Spire Arts, the Asian American Center of Frederick, VOLT Restaurant, Platoon 22, and The Arts & The Military to present a contemporary art exhibit highlighting the work of U.S. veterans from Friday, April 13th – Sunday, June 3rd. This exhibition is made possible by support from the Ausherman Family Foundation and the Delaplaine Foundation.
The artwork will be displayed in VOLT’s dining room and at New Spire Spaces. Please join us for the opening reception on Friday, April 13th at VOLT from 2-5 pm, where Maryland’s First Lady Yumi Hogan will give the opening remarks and local veteran artists will perform.
We look forward to presenting the community with this exhibit highlighting the work and sacrifice of our servicemen and -women as well as the healing and transformative power of the arts.
