Now, we commemorate the visit of the captivating Revolutionary War hero with an adventure of our own: a history hunt for Lafayette in Downtown Frederick!
Walk in the footsteps of a legend as your team recreates Lafayette’s historic visit, solving puzzles and seeing the modern sights he would have seen all those generations ago! Come learn history by living history, and let the games begin!
Period attire encouraged. Prizes for the top finishing groups and best period attire.
$10 per group (up to 8) includes one commemorative booklet.
This event is part of the Lafayette 200 commemoration, a nationwide celebration commemorating the famous Frenchman’s tour of the United States in 1824-25. Frederick joins dozens of communities in celebrating the legacy of America’s favorite fighting Frenchman, a Revolutionary War hero and human rights activist.
