Colonial Jewelers, located in the heart of Downtown Frederick, is currently looking for a Part-Time Office Assistant for our growing business.  Family owned and operated in Frederick for over 70 years we are looking for a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks. This person will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of attention to detail.  This person will be able to pivot between duties based on the needs of the store. Duties include but are not limited to the following….

  • Answering phones
  • Taking and delivering messages
  • Welcoming customers in a warm and inviting way
  • Clerical tasks, such as data entry, sorting and sending mail, updating client information, etc..
  • Monitor level of office supplies
  • Processing customer payments
  • Helping with social media posts
  • Taking and uploading videos
  • Putting together customer packets/promotional materials
  • Helping to ensure a that the store/office are is neat and clean at all times

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to operate standard office equipment
  • Strong phone skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Punctual with a strong attendance history

Job Type

  • Part-Time flexible weekday schedule—Must have Saturday availability

Pay

  • $15 an hour based on experience
