The Destination Development Assistant is responsible for administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of Visit Frederick’s office and support the management of Destination Development initiatives, including the Tourism Reinvestment in Promotion & Product (TRIPP) program, and the Main Street Cooperative Fund. Key to this position will be the management of current and historic data regarding these initiatives. This role will include representing Visit Frederick at major tourism related events within Frederick County as well as coordinating staff to help with event booth coverage. Due to the timing of major events in Frederick County, weekend and evening hours will be required.
