UR Nuts is a Downtown Frederick nut shop built around quality, craftsmanship, and community. We roast premium nuts onsite in small batches and take pride in delivering fresh product and a memorable customer experience. We’re looking for someone dependable and hardworking to help prepare some of our most popular products as we continue to grow.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Part-Time Roaster to assist with preparing our best-selling cinnamon glazed cashews, pecans, and almonds. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a kitchen environment. The position will start at 1–2 days per week, with the potential for additional hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Roast and prepare our best-selling cinnamon glazed cashews, pecans, and almonds according to company standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace
• Assemble and package grab-and-go bags with finished product
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures, including cleaning responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
• Previous experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or kitchen work is preferred
