Tenth Ward Distilling Company is a woman-owned craft distillery located in what used to be the Tenth Ward of Frederick City.
Specializing in whiskey, gin, seasonal liqueurs, limited one-time-only releases and Maryland’s first and only absinthe, everything we make is non-traditional and unconventional, which is why we live fearlessly by our slogan — Ward Off Ordinary.

Event Venue Space
Tenth Ward’s venue space is located on the second floor, measuring out at 2,360 square feet, which can accommodate a maximum of 150 guests. The venue space will house a gorgeous exposed brick facade, original wood flooring and large pane, industrial style windows that allow natural light in on both sides of the space.
