About the Band

Nick Frey is a singer-songwriter from Frederick, MD. Born into a musical household, Nick fell in love with songwriting as a teenager. His heart-wide-open lyrics and soulful sound find their roots in Americana folk, blues, and roots-rock. Performing with his New Orleans-born wife, Mya Frey, and powerhouse band, The Sons of Thunder, the lineup is sure to raise a ruckus that is both spirited and compelling. Meet the band here.

Alive @ Five is the outdoor happy hour that you don’t want to miss, featuring great live music, craft beverages and local food! Join us in the Carroll Creek Amphitheater every Thursday evening from 5-8PM, May 8 through September 25.

Admission is $6 (cash or credit / paid at the gate) and all events are 21+ only. ID required. Drink tokens are $6 each for beer, wine, cocktails and mocktails, and food is available for purchase on site. No outside beverages or coolers allowed. Free water is available inside the event.
