Each winter the trees along Market and Patrick Streets are wrapped in thousands of twinkling lights – creating an enchanting ambiance for visitors as they wander along Downtown Frederick’s bustling sidewalks and explore the many businesses that call our downtown home.

The holiday tree lighting project is a partnership between Downtown Frederick Partnership and the City of Frederick, with support from Visit Frederick, the Bettie Delaplaine Memorial Grant courtesy of Delaplaine Foundation, and many members of our community.
