Part time sales associate.
Duties:
- Â Greeting and engaging customers: Creating a welcoming atmosphere and initiating interactions to understand customer needs.
- Answering questions and providing product information: Explaining features, benefits, pricing, and availability of products.
- Recommending products: Suggesting items based on customer preferences and needs.
Processing sales transactions: Operating cash registers, handling payments, and providing receipts. - Handling returns and exchanges: Processing returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company policy.
- Building customer relationships: Fostering repeat business through positive interactions.
- Maintaining the sales floor: Ensuring a clean, organized, and visually appealing environment.
- Restocking shelves and displays: Replenishing merchandise and maintaining proper stock levels.
- Assisting with inventory management: Helping with cycle counts, receiving shipments, and reporting discrepancies.
- Monitoring for loss prevention: Being observant of the sales floor and reporting suspicious activity.
Ensuring visual merchandising standards are met: Arranging displays according to company guidelines. - Staying up-to-date on product knowledge: Learning about new products, promotions, and store policies.
Collaborating with team members: Working together to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service. - Providing feedback to management: Sharing insights on customer needs and store operations.
Performing opening and closing duties: Some associates may be responsible for tasks like opening or closing the store, handling cash deposits, or completing paperwork
