Kick off your holiday season with all day shopping in Downtown Frederick!

Parking is FREE, shops open early and stay open late, and Downtown Frederick is filled with holiday cheer and decoration.

 

 


A special thanks to our Frosty Friday sponsors! This year’s event is presented by Woodsboro Bank with support from Buckingham’s Choice, an Acts Retirement-Life Community.

Find Woodsboro Bank handing out their annual Santa hats at Square Corner (intersection of Patrick St and Market St) at 12pm – while supplies last, so stop by and see them before you get lunch downtown! Then, pass by 33 E Patrick St between 3-6pm for a special Buckingham’s Choice photo backdrop, free jingle bells, and a marshmallow roasting station.


 

MAIN SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

8am – Frosty Friday Breakfast at participating restaurants. Fuel up for a busy day of shopping and festivities. (locations listed below)

9am – Early Bird Bag Giveaway for the first 100 shoppers who line up at 30 N Market St Bags feature a mix of unique goodies from downtown businesses!

9am-9pm – All Day enjoy extended shopping hours at 45+ downtown stores and restaurants, sing along to familiar holiday music in the streets, and experience the wonder of Downtown Frederick with thousands of twinkling lights & charming storefront decorations.

11am – Snowflake Tree opens at 30 N Market St Earn a free gift from under the tree by shopping with two or more downtown businesses during Frosty Friday. Show receipts totaling at least $100 and pick your present from under the tree! (while supplies last)

12-3pm – Photos with Santa at 30 N Market St Snap a few photos with our jolly Santa in your new matching hat provided by Woodsboro Bank!

4-9pm – Marshmallow Roasting Fire Pits are open all throughout downtown to warm you up and give you a quick sugar rush. ‘Tis the season! (while supplies last)

6-9pm – Frosty Friday Cocktail Competition take a sip, try a few and vote for your favorite in our fourth-annual Frosty Friday Cocktail Competition, featuring $5 seasonal cocktails at participating locations while supplies last (participant list below)

PARKING & TRAVEL

FREE HOLIDAY PARKING: Downtown meters and garages are FREE every weekend from Thanksgiving through New Years, as well as Thanksgiving day, Frosty Friday, Christmas day, and New Years Day. Find more travel and parking info at www.parkfrederick.org and download a map of downtown businesses here.

Public Restrooms can be found in the Church Street (17 E Church St) and Carroll Creek (44 E Patrick St) Public Parking Garages. Restrooms are open daily from 9AM-10PM and cleaned regularly by the City of Frederick following all relevant guidelines.
