Each month, find artists painting live scenes inspired by Downtown Frederick. Paintings will be on display & available for sale during our First Saturday Art Show in December!
Also this month, stop by 30 N Market St from 3-9pm to see local poet and self-published author Distinee Gayle at work. She’ll be set up with a vintage typewriter to create custom poems for anyone that walks by.
FREE CARRIAGE RIDES
During November First Saturday, enjoy a free carriage ride through Downtown Frederick! The wagons will be led by a team of Belgium Draft Mules and/or a team of Percheron horses and hold 12 people. There will be two carriages in operation, with rides leaving approximately every 15 minutes from 4-8pm in Everedy Square & Shab Row (306 E Church St). Rides are available on a first-come basis.
