Alive @ Five is the outdoor happy hour that you don’t want to miss, featuring great live music, craft beverages and local food! Join us in the Carroll Creek Amphitheater every Thursday evening from 5-8PM, May 9 through October 3 (no event July 4).
Admission is $6 (cash or credit / paid at the gate) and all events are 21+ only. ID required. Drink tokens are $6 each for beer, wine, cocktails and mocktails, and food is available for purchase on site. No outside beverages or coolers allowed. Free water is available inside the event.

Alive @ Five is held in the Carroll Creek Amphitheater, which is located in Carroll Creek Park between Market & Carroll Streets — across the creek from the C Burr Artz Public Library. The closest parking options are the Carroll Creek Public Parking Garage (44 E Patrick St) or the E All Saints Street Public Parking Garage (125 E All Saints St). About the Band
Asa Weeks is a dynamic and charismatic first generation rapper, singer-songwriter, emcee, model & actor. Born to his Liberian parents in Silver Spring, Maryland, the story behind Weeks’ family heritage and strong faith are driving factors in his pursuit of greatness. He was involved in school plays and began writing songs at the age of 15. It wasn’t until the release of his well received Debut EP, “Who Knew” in 2020 that he would solidify a name for himself locally and begin to pursue his career in entertainment intently. His polished sound and wide variety of musical influences makes his work appealing to age groups ranging from young to old. His noteworthy lyrical and storytelling abilities coupled with production ranging from jazz influenced syncopation to hard 808 sounds provide his listeners with tasteful originality from a creator whose passion is very apparent. At the young age of 22, he is often referred to as “an old soul.” On and off stage, his infectious personality shines, making him a stand out in any place he is able to share his talents. More recently, Weeks has begun utilizing all of his talents by taking on work emceeing events, modeling for brands and bringing characters to life. His motto, “(don’t let anyone) TAKE YOUR DREAMS!” is a double entendre that serves as a mindset as well as a call to action. Weeks believes it is the responsibility of the individual to, “take your dreams,” which is exactly what he is doing. Meet the band here.
