About the Band
A 25 year old Baltimore based guitarist, singer, songwriter, and music educator, Ryan Watkins can switch between straight ahead jazz to rock, soul, funk, and even bluegrass. While he writes and performs with multiple bands, his band Impression’s new album, Impressions, is out now! Watkins began playing the guitar at the age of eight, and then decided to study it professionally and earned a degree in Jazz Guitar and Music Education from Towson University in 2020. He has been performing professionally since he was 14. Meet the band here.
Before the Show
Each morning before Alive @ Five, start your day with free fitness and wellness classes at the Carroll Creek Amphitheater. Classes begin at 7am with all skill levels welcome. Visit downtownfrederick.org/events for a list of individual events.
