*David Postolski, a senior partner at Gearhart Law, is a registered patent attorney and Intellectual property (IP) attorney. David specializes in assisting inventors, creators, artists, start-ups, entrepreneurs, early-stage companies, and emerging companies with their U.S and international IP strategy, protection, enforcement, and monetization.

**Ryan joined LSWG as an intern in the midst of the 2021 tax season. In June of that year, he accepted a CAS staff accountant position in LSWG’s Frederick office where he assists with client accounting services and tax preparation for individuals. Ryan came to LSWG with a background in teaching, most recently as an assistant professor at Gettysburg College. He is a graduate of The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, where he earned a B.A. in economics and philosophy, and the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he earned a Ph.D. in economics.

Becky Kaler, Business Development Specialist, The City of Frederick

Becky Kaler has served as Business Development Specialist for The City of Frederick since 2017. During college and the years immediately after, she was heavily involved in the launch of her family’s ice cream shop — a rewarding experience that she cites as the source of her enthusiasm for the local business community.  Becky holds an MBA degree from Mount Saint Mary’s University (’17) and is a 2019 Leadership Frederick Graduate. Becky has previously served on the board for Generation Connect, and currently serves on the board of the Downtown Frederick Partnership.
