From the sidewalk, Stone Hearth Bakery hints at its European flair. During the summer, large pots bloomed profusely out front, amidst quaint sign boards announcing the daily specials. Along the side of the building, facing East Church, bistro tables with large umbrellas, amidst more gorgeous flowers, provided a place to retreat and enjoy a sandwich or sweet.
But with summer gone and fall full upon us, the bakery beckons even more with hot, comforting soups, thick, satisfying sandwiches . . . and of course, the lure of fresh-baked breads and desserts.
