Downtown Frederick Partnership Expands Team with Two Key Appointments

Downtown Frederick Partnership is pleased to announce the appointment of two new team members, Brenna O’Malley and Feby Emelio, who will play pivotal roles in advancing the organization’s mission and supporting the continued growth of Downtown Frederick. Brenna will step into the Marketing Manager position, an established role, while Feby will assume the newly created position of Communications Manager, designed to support the Partnership’s expanding initiatives.

Brenna O’Malley, Marketing Manager, will lead the promotion of Downtown Frederick and the Partnership’s events. With a strong background in event logistics and customer service, Brenna has worked with notable organizations such as Bethesda Urban Partnership and RAK Brewing Co. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English for Corporate Communications & Management from Christian Brothers University. In her new role, Brenna will oversee a diverse advertising plan and event calendar, while ensuring that promotional efforts align with the Partnership’s strategic objectives.

Feby Emelio, Communications Manager, will play a key role in promoting both the Partnership and Downtown Frederick’s economic revitalization. Feby brings nearly 20 years of experience in communications, arts administration and nonprofit management, most recently working with the National Assembly of State Arts Agencies. A Fulbright Scholar, she holds Master’s degrees in English Literature from India and Arts Administration from American University. In this new role at the Partnership, Feby will lead outreach, branding and public relations efforts.
