First Saturday is a day to show your love for local!
Support local businesses by shopping with an independent retailer, eating at a local restaurant, supporting local artists and exploring Downtown Frederick. Where you spend your money matters.
Whether you’ve lived here for years, or you’re a first time visitor, First Saturdays are a great time to discover something new about our beautiful downtown.
PARKING & TRAVEL
Through October 31, Market Street is closed to vehicles and open to pedestrians from Patrick Street through Market Space every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11AM-10PM. All cross streets remain open and all public parking garages are still accessible. Visit cityoffrederickmd.gov/popupdining for more information.
Curbside Pickup Zones are available in designated areas throughout downtown, allowing for limited free parking so customers can quickly park and pick up orders from nearby retailers and restaurants. Curbside Zones are located along Market Street and Patrick Street, as well as South, Church, 2nd & 3rd Streets. Customers may park in the marked on-street meter Curbside Pickup Zones for 10 minutes, or in public parking garages for up to 30 minutes at no cost.
Public Restrooms can be found in the Church Street (17 E Church St) and Carroll Creek (44 E Patrick St) Public Parking Garages. Restrooms are open daily from 9AM-10PM and cleaned regularly by the City of Frederick following all relevant guidelines.
