Artopia is here to shine a spotlight on Frederick’s vibrant art scene! Join us Saturday, June 7 for a full day of creative energy, hands-on activities, and live art experiences happening all throughout Downtown Frederick.

One of the highlights? Our first-ever professional live art competition! Three incredible local artists—Andrea Carrillo, Brian Slagle, and Sukhvir Kaur—will go head-to-head in an on-the-spot creative challenge.

Here’s how it works:

• The audience suggests themes—one is chosen at random to kick off the competition

• Artists have just 60–90 minutes to bring their vision to life

• The winner is chosen by a mix of audience votes and local art gallery experts
