With Governor Hogan’s executive order prohibiting gatherings of 50+ people (changed to 10+ people on March 19) and the recent announcement from CDC recommending the cancellation of these events over the next 8 weeks, Downtown Frederick Partnership has made the following changes to our upcoming spring events. These decisions are not taken lightly as we understand the impact on our downtown community.
The safety of Downtown Frederick’s residents, workers and visitors is of the utmost importance to Downtown Frederick Partnership. The first priority for everyone is to take appropriate steps to limit the spread of COVID-19 and ensure our entire community remains healthy.
As an organization that is grounded in a love for our local community, we encourage you all to look for ways where you can help to safely support each other in these troubling times.

Bring a Broom Saturday
EVENT CANCELLED — originally scheduled for April 25. The Partnership considered postponing this event, but with so many individuals and groups involved in the day, as well as the uncertainty surrounding the progression of COVID-19, we feel that it is safer for everyone involved to simply cancel. Save the date for next year: April 24, 2021
