Join in the seventh annual Bring a Broom Saturday on Saturday, April 27, 2019! Community members are asked to bring their brooms and help Downtown Frederick get ready for spring.

Bring a Broom Saturday is brought to you by Comcast, Tobacco Free Frederick, Hood College, The City of Frederick, Keep Maryland Beautiful, Maryland Environmental Trust, Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, Maryland Department of Transportation and Downtown Frederick Partnership, with support from Oldetowne Landscape Architects, Grant County Mulch, Brewer’s Alley, Frederick Coffee Co & Cafe, GOOD juju, Wegmans, Common Market, New Spire Arts and the Weinberg Center for the Arts.
Bring a broom, a water bottle, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, a visor and your friends and neighbors to help Downtown Frederick freshen up! Volunteers will sweep, mulch, clean up and plant flowers. Volunteers of all ages are welcome.
On the day of the event, register at the Partnership office (19 E Church St) between 8:30 and 9AM and receive your clean up assignment. Breakfast snacks, coffee and water will be available during registration, courtesy of Frederick Coffee Co & Cafe, Wegmans and Common Market. Clean up continues from 9 – 11:30AM, followed by a free lunch for volunteers, courtesy of Brewer’s Alley and GOOD juju.
