3️⃣ Your furry friends are invited to the 4th Annual Canines on the Creek, featuring a doggy parade and costume contest, hosted by the FSK Lions Club..
4️⃣ The big “scream” returns to Carroll Creek with a free showing of Halloweentown hosted by Frederick Parks & Recreation.
5️⃣ It’s Sherlock Sunday Halloween Edition! The Endangered Species Theatre Project brings radio alive with an in-person production of a Sherlock Holmes radio play at Sky Stage.

Saturday, October 28, All Day (Trick-or-treating 10am-12pm)
The Saturday before Halloween, Downtown Frederick turns into a trick-or-treater’s paradise! Local business owners provide candy for the best ghouls, goblins, and bananas in town. Find face painting and crafts at 30 N Market St, as well as pumpkin decorating, games and hot cider at 33 E Patrick St.

Vintage VW Halloween Car Show & Trunk-or-Treat

Everedy Square & Shab Row
Stop by Everedy Square & Shab Row during the Halloween in Downtown Frederick event to check out all the Vintage VWs. Some will be in their Halloween costumes, others will be showcasing their natural beauty. There will also be a few treats to gather if you’re in the business of trick-or-treating!

Canines on the Creek: Doggy Parade & Costume Contest
Saturday, October 28, 2pm-5pm
Carroll Creek Park
Dress up you and your pooch in your best Halloween get up for the opportunity to win prizes and giveaways! RAIN or SHINE. Saturday, October 28 from 2-5PM at the Carroll Creek Amphitheater. The Costume Contest and Parade kick off at 3PM. There will be exhibitors, demonstrations, food, and prizes.

Movie on the “Big Scream”

Carroll Creek Amphitheater
Movie on the “Big Scream” returns this October 21st to the Carroll Creek Amphitheater as a family-friendly event! Hosted by the City of Frederick’s Parks & Recreation Department.
This year’s film will be Halloweentown. The event will feature local vendors including Treats to Brag About and The Original Popcorn House. Doors open at 6:00 PM, COSTUMES ENCOURAGED!
