Ladies & Gents Downtown Hair Co. is a woman-owned salon located in the heart of Downtown Frederick. Over the past eight years we have taken pride in being a vibrant and integral part of the community. Our salon is known for its inviting, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere – a fun and creative space that exudes youthful energy. We are woven into the fabric of Downtown Frederick and love having a prime location in a great historic building near the corner of Market & Patrick St.
Position Overview
We are currently seeking talented and passionate barbers and stylists to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate must be a team-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, a solid work history, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and energetic environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional barbering and styling services to clients
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a positive and supportive salon environment
- Uphold the standards of honesty and professionalism at all times
- Continuously stay updated on industry trends and techniques
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Current cosmetology or barber license
- Availability to work Tuesdays – Sundays
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with people
- Passion for the industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Solid work history demonstrating reliability and dedication
