Small But Mighty Workshop @ NOMA Gallery

AN ART WORKSHOP CREATING A POCKET SHRINE HONORING NATURE AND THOSE WE LOVE, HERE OR GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN.

Join us for an art workshop where you will tap into your creative connection with nature and those you love by making a pocket shrine. This shrine will be built into an ordinary Altoid® tin using very small objects, including photos and mementos, that are sacred and precious to you.

Your personal pocket shrine can travel with you, it can be closed or opened, a daily devotion, displayed, or stored safely away in a drawer. It can be a spiritual reminder of you need to dive into your purpose and intention of living on earth.

WHAT TO BRING:
You should bring personal objects that are important to you, (remember, they need to be able to fit inside the tin.)
-very small photos
-mementos/objects
-natural objects, dried flowers, shells, small stones
We will provide tins, construction supplies and lots of fun stuff to put inside.
